Moritz Werner, Head of BU-International at Delica AG, describes the success in foreign business as a milestone for Migros Industrie (MIND). MIND has grown strongly in the last two years, especially in Germany and Spain. Most of the success was generated by the production of products made specifically for foreign retailers – so-called private label products. The focus was placed on products that are already successful in Switzerland.
Swiss quality is convincing
In addition, Migros Industrie also sells its own brands abroad, because Swiss quality is convincing, says Moritz Werner. The own brands, which are also available abroad, include Café Royal and Chocolat Frey.
